Somewhat changed is matter of P38's. We now have several P38H's ready to return to you for training purpose. However, due to critical shortage P38's in units in 15th Air Force, we have decided to fly 45 of these airplanes there to reinforce those units immediately. This is to be done with understanding that these and other combat retired P38's will be returned to you as soon as sufficient new models are available as result of diversion requested in ourad K3031 Jan 10. Immediate implementation of this plan should help this situation to be alleviated.

Special Orders may contain transfers or other information. Flight records, accident reports, maintenance logs, after action reports, pilot encounter reports, diaries and biorgraphies; all of these types of documents help us support or mission: preserving your history! Contact us today for instructions on sending us this material.
