Army Air Corps Library and Museum is dedicated to the memory of all who served in the U.S. military. The museum contains a vast collection of artifacts of the Army Air Service / Army Air Corps / Army Air Forces / US Air Force. Uniforms, gear, documents, books, photos, scrapbooks, medals, ribbons and much more.

This website, 15af.org is one of many projects of the museum and is the beginning of a database of those assigned to units that fell under the command of the 15th Air Force in World War II.

We have been compiling histories documents and more of these men and units and will be continuing to add to the material on this website. Volunteers are helping us transcribe the names os servicemen and servicewomen from documents. These names will be found on the various roster pages.

Historical Artifacts: We are looking for photos, documents and other types of artifacts including uniforms and gear of the 15th Air Force in World War II as well as other units and commands. We accept electronic/scans or originals of pictures and paper records. A General Order could be an award document that contains information on many servicemen. Special Orders may contain transfers or other information. Flight records, accident reports, maintenance logs, after action reports, pilot encounter reports, diaries and biorgraphies; all of these types of documents help us support or mission: preserving your history! We are looking for volunteers that can help us with the following tasks. Typing and Transcriptionists: One of our big projects is extracting data from the thousands of documents we have and putting this data into a database where we can display the information on a website such as this one.
