ADDITIONAL SIGNAL INFORMATION

Fifteenth Air Force Plan for Operation “FRANTIC JOE”

            As of 1 June 1944 the following conditions will exist regarding radio aids at Russian bases.

  1. Local homing beacons and air drome controls operating as planned.
  1. Radio range station not repeat not available.
  1. VHF/DF moved and now located only at Piryatin, call sign “Swanee” on A Channel 126.18 meg C.
  1. Air-Ground W/T radio station established at Poltava, call sign X8R, on 5495 K. C.
